BSP painted eyelids....I'll do it for free...as long as you have the eyelids sent directly to my place and Paypal me a few bucks to ship back to you.

 

To answer the OP question, I love these eyelids. They are a perfect mold to the existing OEM eyebrow, easy to install, match the lines of the car and are a hell of a lot more durable than vinyl.

 

i actually have these on my BSP it looks clean. i saved a lot because i just paint these myself. maybe if i get the time ill take pics of it and post them up.

I might get these, but FLEA how did you paint yours? Gun, or colormatched OEM paint out of a can?

Also... clear? etc. If you would give me kind of a step by step prep and paint (materials list would be awesome also, lol) so I can do this little project.

 

These eyelids come already primered in black, they're ready to paint. I currently don't have a spraygun, but will be getting one soon. In the meantime I use a PPG OEM color matched paint out of a rattlecan. My friends work at a local paint shop and they set me up with paint all the time.

I apply at least 4 coats of the basecoat with about 15-20 minutes flash time in between each coat. Lightly wet sand with 2500 grit and apply 3 coats of clear coat. If I see any orange peel I'll lightly wet sand again with 2500 grit and buff to a smooth reflective finish.
