Quick shipping, Bat!
Got it installed right away last Friday when I saw it in the mail :D ! I might as well write a mini-guide. Below are some helpful pictures of the procedure to help those who want to do it on their driveways.
Things you will need:
1) Vinyl Overlay
2) Clean (wax free) bumper
3) Rubbing alcohol in spray bottle
4) Mixture of soap and water in spray bottle
5) Towels to clean up
6) Squeegee or credit card wrapped in paper towel
7) HEAT SOURCE! (preferably heat gun and not girlfriend's hair dryer)
Pop off your grill and start off by spraying the adhesive part of the vinyl with the soap/water solution. Slap it on and get rid of the bubbles with the squeegee. Work your way from the top down. The top is the hardest because you have to align it with the curvature of your bumper using a heat source. Notice the little finger bubbles up top - these can be rid of by spraying some alcohol into them and pressing down with the squeegee. Alcohol helps because it dries faster than water.
If it gets really stubborn, use heat and press down with the squeegee.
An hour later, all the bubbles up top are squeegeed out.
The bottom part should be fairly easy. Just re-apply the soap/water solution and remove the bubbles with your squeegee. I spent a total of 2 hours on this project. Would have gotten it done faster if my girlfriend didn't lose my heat gun!!! I ended up using her hair dryer instead .
The finished product on my BRM:
