Default front bumper sagging

So I have a 06 tc and I noticed that the bumper is sagging between the fender and the top of the bump. It has a gap mostly on the drivers side and starting to develop on the passenger side as well. I do have a carbon fiber front lip on this bumper plus I put on another bumper with the trd lip in the winter, the gap is present with ether bumper. So does anybody have a remedy for this problem. The gap is at the part where it is supposed to snap in but it just pops out.

Pics? Just to take a stab at it blindly, plastic (urethane, fiberglass, whatever...) is finicky and tends to wear out and become less "tight" as you swap bumpers more and more. You may have a broken tab or retainer because of the additional force applied from the lips you have installed.

I've checked for broken tabs and that its installed correct. It stays in place if
I push the bottom of the bumper up, so i'm going to find a way to support the bumper upwards. Or replace the bracket that the bumper clips onto.

These bumpers never go back on the same after they are removed. I've had mine off about 5 times and I'm just happy if it doesn't fall off going down the road lol. I've got quite a few zip-ties enlisted in my bumper support squadron hehe.

I've noticed the same thing with my bumper.
I just assumed it was from the tabs being bent from taking off your bumper.

I've had mine off a bunch of times (and actually have to take it off again soon to clean the air filter)... and it really looks OK from what I can tell. I've been trying to watch for gaps but for a 2005 and the number of times I've had it off, I don't really notice much of anything. I would really just make sure you have all of the proper clips in the right places - and that none of them are damaged. It really should go back together to an OEM fit - even if you have a lip on it.

im sure its just wear and tear, you really cant notice it untill you pull the bumper up with your hands and see how it is suppose to look, lol

Is the foam bump stop on? I know a lot of peeps remove this but I just found out it is important to help holding up the bumper and can make a big difference.

Also you might be about to use some heat to fix it into place. I just recently had to fix mine this way and it worked great. Just be careful not to burn paint.lol

I was able to pull the bumper off and I did notice that the part of the bumper that sits in the channel is starting to buckle, possibly from the lip? So for a temporary fix I folded a piece of cardboard under the bumper where it snaps into the clip, to push it closer to the clip and washers under the push snaps under the hood, between the bumper and the body, to lift the bumper up. It seems to have worked for now. It looks like I'm going to have to add a reinforcement to the bumper.
