Default front lip kit that covers oem gfx holes?

so I got a nasty butt curb rash on my front lip. its just so painful to see everytime I walk up to the car. Its pretty aweful looking.

I have 3 options.

1. get it repainted (IMO probably be a waste of money)
2. get a new different lip to replace oem (yay!)
3. the ez fix, get a decal or something and cover it up, like a vinyl decal or something.

I kinda want a new front lip but the oem gfx leaves holes, just wondering if theres any lip kit out there that'll cover it?

The only ones I know of are the FIVEaxis and RS1/ABS lip kit.

i'm pretty sure RS1 doesn't cover it up. What if you were to get the bbist OEM CF lip?

I dont think the 5axis will cover the holes, I think the 5 axis lip starts almost at the very bottom edge of the front bumper.

rs1 wont cover the holes either.

I think the only lips that will cover is the nia and jp vizage and both lower the body lines, which is what Im trying to avoid. It would look imbalanced with the rest of the car.

the bbist cf lip is only sold as a kit and I dont want to buy a whole kit.

If possible, Id actually want a different lip aside from oem if im going to have to replace it.

I wonder how much it would be to just fix that portion in the body shop?

in regards to the decal, Im thinking a red decal on the bottom driver side over the curb rash. it would be a red accent on a black car, which IMO would look alright.

I stick red decals on the windows

my tails are red

or I can just stick something like a tein decal when the scuff is on the lip.

dude, I wish I didnt scrape the lip... if I want to replace it or fix it, its money down the drain, that couldve gone elsewhere, like my bills

or a tanabe exhaust

just slap on a big band-aid over it and get an "ouch" decal, you'll be good to go =] (and you were right, the FIVEaxis and rs1 don't fit over the slits =/ ) I say just paint it, should be about 2 bills tops

two bills?

I like the sticker idea better lol.

with $200 thats almost a tanabe concept G, almost a new lip, or a partial car payment
or two weeks worth of food lol.

I guess Ill have to live with the current kit, as a constant reminder to angle the car properly up steep driveways.

you would think the lip kit itself under the paint is black so the scrape wouldnt show as much, but noooooo these ones a white scrape that stands out against the black paint.

does anyone know why the gash is white as opposed to the uerathane black? is it the clear coat, do you think it can be polished down to make it more subtle?

another lip kit I realized that would cover the holes is the rs3 lip kit that racing solution sells.

anyone purchased that one or have any reviews on that one?

I can cut the middle out and turn it into an rs4 lip kit.

Yeah, I wasn't 100% sure about the lips I mentioned earlier, I was kinda going off memory...

Oh well, this'll fix it! The band-aid for cars! Ta-da!
