GATERHING DOC I SPLITTER BUYERS
#161
I don't want to sound like Mr. Busy-Busy, but I genuinely don't have time to check the forums every day-- but I do have e-mail and IM, folks-- and they go to my computer, my laptop, and my phone. So if you have aquestion about the install, all you have to do is ask.
To answer the last question posted, you absolutely have to take the bumper off th car. You need to drill six holes, and you won't be able to drill any of them while the bumper is attached. I think most of your questions will be answered immediately once you remove your bumper and set it on top of the splitter. The whole thing sort of... falls together, as it were.

Yeah. Absolutely necessary to remover the bumper. If you look on his website, it even says so. Once you place the bumper on the splitter all the holes will line up. Its really not that hard.

so did everyone put their splitter on? Im still waiting for more pics. And I need some clarification about the support rods. Is there a washers or anyother thing that needs to be placed between the bolt and screw? Im talking about the part that attaches to the bumper. I just feel that it could be easily ripped off if it were to hit something.
