isnt the blind spot on the rear passenger quarter panel? so shouldnt the convex be on the passenger side, not driver?

if I read the OP correctly, I think only one mirror is convex and both mirrors are tinted blue?
convex mirros help relieve blind spots, however the OP states convex side is used on driver side.

I thought it was odd that the convex side would be used on the opposite side of the blind spot.

Maybe the passenger side is just a replica which is tinted blue, since it's already slightly convex?

It should be on the drivers side. That would be the correct spot.

Yea, because the passenger side already has convex, but what I think they were confused about, is wether or not the passenger side replacement mirror will be convex. If not, basically this set is just moving the convex from right to left and adding tint...which is kind of a disappointment for me.

The blind spot is definately on the drivers side. Sit in your seat and try to look over your left shoulder.... what do you see? C-Pillar, seats, MAYBE a little bit of window... not enough to safely judge if there is a vehicle on your left side to switch lanes.

wierd, for me I see the driver side perfectly, I just cant see out the passenger side.

maybe it has to do with driver height and how far the seat is pushed back. I have my seats pulled all the way back and I can see over my left shoulder fine. I can have a full view of my parameters on the driver side, when I look over the right passenger rear, I have a blind spot between the quarter panel window and thw rear window.
