A cheap asian? WTF?

Even if you were trying to be funny, you could have said "are you jewish" ... at least that would fit the stereotype.

"cheap asian" ... sheesh.

Hmm... not sure why they're not coming through. I'm going to bed now but will check in the morning and post if I see them.

I would get it only if it came in carbon fiber. I hate the metal crap that you can't even touch without leaving fingerprints

Should probably mention it to Kreative Import or Racing Solutions or something. They each make one of the CF engine covers. If there were interest in this, I'm sure they'd consider it.

Could probably get a good CF engine bay going on with these two and then maybe a CF intake?

That's why I was questioning the person that called it a "cheap mod" ... it's not that cheap for something that appears so simple (not that it necessarily is, it just appears to be). And I bet that the cooling advantages of it are really negligible. It would be a nice dress up item, but I would probably want mine to be color matched.

Might even be better if it was made from plexiglass. plexiglass isnt that cheap, but its easier to work with.

I liked the idea of the panel, but not the pricetag. It's a purely cosmetic piece: the tC has a weatherstrip along the top edge of the bumper cover, as a second one on the hood that seals to the top of the radiator-- so the panel is doing very little other than looking pretty.

A Redline prop is worth the 60 bones-- it holds the hood up. Fo me, I'll take a much lower bling factor, much lower cost factor, and pretty good "hide the horns and other unpretty bits" factor. 1/16" ABS, and about 90 minutes of my time. Beats Greddy's price.

you are correct about they way the hood seals that air way. but if you think about it, when the air is gonig through the grill... not all of it goes straight into the radiator, it will go any which way it can (up, down, left, and right). with the air diversion on there, it wont allow the air to go up, there for it pushes it back down to allow the radiator to get more air. do i think it makes much of a differance? NO! does it look good? YES, would i buy one if it was in CF... HELL YEAH
