Seriously, when have you expected to pay less than $50 for any "mod"? You can't even get giant yellow NAAAAWWZZ stickers for $20.

I mean, the friggen battery tie down and oil filler cap options are $120. $63 is chump change for anything that isn't some piece of crap part from eBay.

A Redline prop is worth the 60 bones-- it holds the hood up. Fo me, I'll take a much lower bling factor, much lower cost factor, and pretty good "hide the horns and other unpretty bits" factor. 1/16" ABS, and about 90 minutes of my time. Beats Greddy's price.

What grill is that you have on ur car? No emblem?

It's a Mr. Grille billet grille. I cut the OEM plastic out, mounted the billet in it's place, and painted the whole thing black. Currently working on the same treatment for the bottom grille.

I'm not basing my price on the fact that it's a "mod" of some sort... it's a piece of sheet metal... not expensive.

And the AEM stuff is a terrible example of the price comparison. You can get the set for around $75 from a place like trdsparks.com ... not $120. It's $120 if you buy from the dealer and have them install it.

Also could you explain a little bit more in detail about your grill i didnt understand exactly sorry.

Also i dont know if this is true, but this panel stuff seems like all hype to me. Its like exhaust piping, mandrel and crush bending. I know test has proven mandrel being better but i was thinking if air is flowing in a pipe and hits a corner, most of the air will be travelling on the outside not the inner side so most the air will still be moving. I dont know, but i really like Dr. Isotopes black one, i would def. like to try to make one myself.

The panel was maybe 90 minutes of casual work-- ABS is exceedingly easy to work with, and the piece itself isn't very complicated. Anyone with moderate skills could fab one up.

For the grille, I cut out the OEM grille, leaving only the trimring and chrome bezel. I then cut the billet grille to fit, mounted it in place, and painted the whole thing black. I especially like it at night-- It looks like no grille at all, just blackness.

It's an Optima RedTop 75/35. So long as you get a standard code positive on the left, negative on the right (not a "reverse" terminal), it will fit. The Redtops and Yellowtops are identical to each other physically, except for the narrow unit for Honda.

I got installed last night, BUT... see my thread in General Tc.

For being worth the money... If you don't have it to spend, do not spend it. It's really only two thin pieces on aluminum cut and drilled nicely with a little GReddy logo imprinted. There are no hood fitment issues and the only problem I have is that the prop rod does not fit now, as it goes down into the area a bit where the panel sits.

It looks sweet and combined with a header/intake/ and other pretty chrome, it looks nice, but is a fingerprint magnet times 1000%

I'll have picks once my baby gets out of the body shop....
