Smooth. I think I'll leave it black, but just in case I decide to paint it, it'll be semi-ready.

Did you get yours?

I am really unhappy with the Greddy one. I dont have a hood prop so that wasnt an issue. But it scratches so bad where the hood rests on it. Impossible to keep perfect for shows.

I might buy the doc isotope one and use it for shows and take it off other times, just so it stays looking good.

Nick! Hey! I haven't seen you since last summer @ the Lustine show! Hope all is well in Iraq!...if possible.

I need the hole for my hood prop, so I like that about the Doc one. I really don't want it all scratched up tho! Maybe I should buy 2

What a waste....
dude, there's an easy solution to ur problem. i was in ur shoes also, but with a drill and a small drill bit, just make a hole for the hood prop. it's simple. and once u do that, u can secure the hood prop in place, and then u wouldnt think that 60 dollars was a waste.

No there was no solution. The plastic screws got stuck and the only way to take the panels out were to bend them at 90 degree angles and bang the 2 plastic screws out from underneath

Greedy sells a substandard product. Heed the warning i gave in the 1st post.

DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF ____ PART!! Many other people make much better ones, just cuz Greedys names on it, it dosent save it from being a ____ part. End of story.

I had doc I's and was happy with it... then i wanted something more shinny, so i went with MMW's, and im happy with it. it is a little scrached up... but no biggy, i got over it. plus i have a hood strut, so the hood prop isnt an issue for me

and yes to answer someones question, its mainly for looks. its also designed to keep the air going to the radiator instead of letting it exacpe through that gap... but you wont see/feel/notice any benefits from it, besides it looking good

I picked up the textured one today - I hope it is pretty decent - i figured the dr isotope one would be best .... I want it to make the car look better ....not exactly for a performance gain (but it cant hurt matters)

got the smooth one and painted gloss black. if you are not planning on painting yours, get the textured because smooth comes pre-sanded and ready for paint.

I have the greddy one on now. I might paint the DOC one for shows, and use the greddy for the rest of the time. The greddy one is so spotted. I need to figure away to polish it better.

^ ya - i thought it would get distorted after a while ...thats why I wanted black material instead of metal. As long as that gap is covered up ..then that is all that matters.

I think the Greddy panel was well developed. Well, if you guys don't want to spend any money, take off the little plastic piece at the end of the hood prop. I took it off and it works fine without scratching!

Doc Isotpes is the best, I dont like the metal ones simply because they scratch easily.

I have the textured panel
