there is a guy on cardomain who has this, so yeah it is possible, but IMO it would be annoying and not worth the hassle since its rare to be in reverse anyway. just my opinion though.

yeah, doesn't seem all that practical. I mean, how long do you reverse for at any given time? 5 seconds, 10 seconds at the max? And how long does it take for them to actually warm up, a couple seconds at least.
Also, with hid's the more often you turn them on and off, the faster they get warn down. With reverse lights, you are constantly doing that.
Another thing, how many watts does the stock reverse light bulb take? 10W or something like that. HIDs require 35 watts if i'm not mistaken? So you would have to run a bunch of wires.
Yeah, i just don't see it being worth the trouble.

Real HIDs -- No
HID Look -- Yes

They look cool but put out less light than your stock halogen bulbs.

Check w/ Garage1217 he sells them

No. At least on a tC it probably isn't. On an xB2 it might be due to having only one reverse light.

I must say, that is pretty sweet. But for the amount of time you are actually in reverse, just seems like it would barely have time to warm up.
