H.I.D. reverse lights?

yeah, doesn't seem all that practical. I mean, how long do you reverse for at any given time? 5 seconds, 10 seconds at the max? And how long does it take for them to actually warm up, a couple seconds at least.
Also, with hid's the more often you turn them on and off, the faster they get warn down. With reverse lights, you are constantly doing that.
Another thing, how many watts does the stock reverse light bulb take? 10W or something like that. HIDs require 35 watts if i'm not mistaken? So you would have to run a bunch of wires.
Yeah, i just don't see it being worth the trouble.

Real HIDs -- No
HID Look -- Yes
They look cool but put out less light than your stock halogen bulbs.
