Help with DDM Tuning HIDs
***In advance, sorry if the pics are too big. I didn't want to shrink them too much so you guys can see see what's what.
Soo it's been about 3 weeks since my passenger-side bulb went out. I bought this 5000K hid kit about 1-2 years ago and it no longer qualifies for a warranty from the company I bought it from.
Hearing so many stories about HID bulbs going out and finally experiencing it myself, I decided- heck, I might as buy a kit from a company that has a lifetime warranty and save me any possible trouble in the future. I looked around and decided to go with DDM tuning cause they offer a lifetime warranty and the 55W 5000K HID kit (H11 bulb size) for ~$55 shipped. Not too bad.
First problem: Finally found some time to do the install and I noticed there's metal prongs and I have no idea where they go. You can see them next to the bulb in the new kit in the 1st pic. Correct me if I'm wrong: I assume the two connectors on the top left connect with the two connectors below it & the connector on the far right connect to the balast.
Second problem: I tried fitting the bulb in and can't figure out how to get them in. Wrong bulb size maybe?? Any bulbs I've used before just slide in, turn to the right and locks in.
Old kit vs. DDM Tuning
Close up of the connectors for the new kit.
They gave me this piece for each side of the kit and I have no idea what they're for
You can see the base of the old bulb here:
Base in the new bulb:
Old bulb (blown)
New bulb
I've tried to use DDM Tuning's Support page to get help, but none of the damn links load on the support page
any help from you guys would be very much appreciated! one working bulb is decent enough to light up the road at night, but I'm trying to figure this out asap before a cop pulls me over haha

Seeing how you have a 2008, yea you did order the correct size which is H11 for the low beam. (if you have stock headlights.)
But the new bulb you have doesn't look like a H11... it looks like a H7 size (i think). Whatever size it is, it isn't H11 which is why it won't fit. Open a ticket on their website and tell them your problem. (They sent you the wrong bulb size)

yeah, if they dont fit, you have the wrong bulbs. those metal prongs or whatever are the connectors that go in your stock harness. that's also an indication that you got the wrong bulbs.

I think Imma call in when they open up in a couple hours to speed up the process. I hope they don't ask to send anything back cause I figured this probably doesn't cost much on the distributor's side and they might even toss it if I send it back lol
