Default HID Ballast

Hey I finally received my HIDs from DDM. I want to install them but can people who have them post a picture of their location of the ballast? Thanks in advance.

Anywhere they will fit will work. I put the drivers side just under the battery and the other side on the flat part of the frame just behind the headlight. Its not rocket science.

Mine are on the backside on the battery, and the other laying flat on the exposed frame behind the passenger headlight.

There aren't a lot of flat surfaces in there so most guys have theirs in the same couple of places.

I was trying to zip-tie them but spots I can find with holes didn't work. Did you guys use double-sides tape? I'm afraid those will come off with all the heat in there.

I will warn you DDM makes terrible ballast. I bought an ebay kit $40shipped and they lasted longer than even one ddm ballast. But i zip tied mine to whatever i could find lol

They do have lifetime warranty. I think as long as the ballasts are secured and don't get too much shock, they'll be ok.

Well mine was 30 days free warranty, then after that you have to pay for shipping which is stupid. Ill take my $40 kit ballasts are like $16bucks shipped.

Hey enjoy them though. Hids are so awesome in these cars, Especially the tC's with projectors.

I've been using my DDM ballasts for over 2 years no problem. Ebay kits are junk, proven again and again.

OP, yes the sticky tape will work just fine.
