HID/DDM tuning problem
Well I got a 35w kit from DDM and I ordered the wiring harness, but they never sent the wiring harness.
Well I tried to install these anyways and see if they would fire up. I had no luck, I thought maybe I had a bad ballast because I was only testing one side. I switched the ballast and same thing. Switched bulbs and same thing. What is wrong? Will the relay give them the power to fire up?

Check the polarity. You can insert the plug into the ballast 2 different ways. I know mine has a clip-looking thing that can either be facing into the middle of the ballast or out of the ballast. I don't have the DDM tuning HID kit but both kits I own look the same so I am assuming yours does too. I had the same problem at first and after switching each side I got both to fire up. Also, the relay isn't necessary. It is just there to give you a little extra protection from frying your car's stock harness. It should be able to get power without the relay.

^x2 Yeah that's probably your problem.
Btw if you have the newer headlights with the projectors I would suggest using the relay. I ran mine without the relay and they worked fine at first for about a month or two, but then one of my ballasts went out. After installing the relay I haven't had any problems and it's been over a year.

If you would like some assistance with a relay, we can get you one for very little - $10.
They aren't necessary, contact us on this thread if you need:

If you have the slim digital kit, you don't really need the harness, as the firing voltage doesn't spike as high as a traditional ballast, so harm to the stock harness is unlikely.
And yea, the DDM kit I have on my fogs needed to be reverse wired.

its going to be really really blue and will not be bright. you will be very unhappy driving at night when you want to see whats down the road. the higher the temps on HIDs are the more blue they get and less light output as they go.

Back from the dead? haha
I got my problem fixed.
They sent me a relay harness once I proved it to them that I didn't get one. Glad I didn't have to pay that ridiculous $13 shipping on top of another relay harness. Now I feel much better without the spike on the stock harness.
