Default hid problem =[

ok my hid's work perfectly, but when i turn my car (start the engine) half the time one flickers and turns off and i have to turn my headlights off then back on. it's really annoying and an inconvenience. I think it's either the voltage drop or my shaddy japanese ballasts

any input would help greatly
thank you

I turned my cables arround. So instead of Red-Red and Blk-Blk i did Red-black. After that i have had no trouble with my Lights.

i'll put my car in the run position and they'll be one fine then i start the car (engine) and one will usually flicker and either turn off or stay on
if i turn the lights on once my car's started i normally don't have this problem

never leave any lights on when you turn off the car and always turn on the lights "after" the car is on.

So why does our cars have "auto" lights? Isn't this so we don't have to keep turning them on and off? Or was that just an HID related recommendation?

its more HID related even though I hardly ever left them on with the stock bulbs. Also our cars has the auto off so you dont leave your lights on and drain the battery.

I have mobileHID and I have a similar problem. The passenger side would turn off randomly when I'm driving. Then I have to turn off and turn back on my headlight to power up the passenger side again. Sometimes it would turn off again, and sometimes it would stay on. I'm getting really annoyed by this. Like everyone else says, I turn on my HID after the engine is started, so I don't really know how to fix this problem. I'm running a relay harness and slim ballast. I'm pretty sure its the ballast. Wish MobileHID is still in business so i can buy a single slim ballast or something.

as long as theyre the same wattage it doesn't matter, it's basically just a huge capacitor
