I don't see anything related to retrofitting on that link.

You know. folks at HIDplanet are saying that S2000 are brighter and wider than FX modded. I never had a pair of FX to mess around with, so I don't really know. Since you have S2000, see my cutoffs (FX modded) compare it with your S2000.

Really nice indeed. Your clear-lensed FX come out really wide, clean, sharp, and straight. Look much like my modded S2000. What I like in particular about the s2k cutoff is that it has lot of intensity just below the cutoff line, which makes it very noticable at further distant and on the side wall even five lane across. In terms of brightness, I can't tell how much brighter is your FX and my S2000, but I'm sure it's brighter than stock halogen.

Note the intensity of light just below the side cutoff. It can go deep to the side before fading out.

Yeah, I notice that the S2000 had more intensity on the far end of the cutoffs, but I was just curious S2000 is wider and brighter in the center. My FX is actually brighter than TSX, and TSX is pretty bright.

I believe the FX, TSX, and S2K are about equally wide. Since the s2k distributes much of its light toward the sides and just below the cutoff, I suspect center foreground brightness may not be as bright as the FX, but you can't really tell unless a side-by-side test is done. I notice passing by tsx, fx, and tl on the road, and my s2k are equally bright on the center. To be honest, there are times when my s2k seems less bright, and there are times when my s2k seems much brighter. I guess it depends on the year model of the car or should I say the age of the bulb.
