Go to ebay and find the taillights for under $40 shipped (I've bought two sets in the past and paid $30shipped and $35shippd). Then send them off to Jon's Tinted Tails. You won't regret it. I've see people with the vinyl and if it's not done right forget about it. If it's done right, wait a few months. I've had the VHT tails and they were good too but nothing like the JTT. It has a smooth shiny surface that blends with the shiny surface of the car. You don't even have to go as dark as I did. Go with painted tails from JTT.

Oh, JTT is not a sponsor of mine, I just love what they did.

Here's some better pics of my tails. I still need to wash and wax but waiting till the clear coat cures. The lights can be seen fine at night but are a little dark in the day but that's why I kept the third untinted.

its recommended that you sand the light so it adheres better but i dunno if you'd get away with not sanding it.

When I did mine (not the ones on now) I sanded with 2000 grit paper real lightly just so it would stick better. I think most people don't sand before but it's up to you. I still say send them to Jon's Tinted Tails.

you should sand them to rough up the edges. It gets the paint to hold better. And make sure you guys polish them up because otherwise they look flat and unfinished..

Came out pretty well...some over spray but I will get it off with goo off and if not rubbing compound

Got most of it off but some inside the crevices due to my lack of skill with painters tape haha

Got some bubbles but I am going to wet sand and clear coat it soon

There's a screw and one of those plastic snap in things in each rear wheel well where the bumper goes. Pull each off and pull back a little and you should be able to remove the lights without pulling the whole bumper off.
