Hyper Black paint code?
Does anyone know if there is a Paint Code for Hyper Black?
I was planning on coloring my wheels that color or a graphite type color.

^I know 040 is SW...for Scions.
040 is also the color code for Mercedes black per paint shops, body shops, and this website:
http://www.benzworld.org/forums/deta...new-paint.html
If you go to a good bodyshop they should be able to paint the side and make it look like new. Black is the easiest color to match, paint code 040.
BMW paint code 668 is the jet black per this website.
http://www.cardata.com/spoilers/Car_...aint_codes.htm
Mercedes paint code is 040 per this website.
http://www.landiss.com/paintcodes.htm
and
http://www.automotivetouchup.com/cho...el=Glk%20Class
ALL MB models
http://www.automotivetouchup.com/cho...l=All%20Models
http://www.automotivetouchup.com/cho...l=All%20Models
Nowhere on any MB is color code 668.
Type in color code 668 in the search engine on an automotive paint website and you get, BMW, MINI, GM, Chevrolet, etc. no Mercedes. Pretty sure their database is correct...after all, they only deal with paint and orders on a daily basis.
Under ordinary circumstances I wouldn't let a little thing like such bother me. But in this case I specifically stated using "040....that is the paint code for Mercedes black" which in fact matches very accurately to the RS5 tC wheel color. I am amazed when people come in here and right away state "incorrect"...when they don't take a few seconds to read what you write.

I'm looking to see if some type of Hyper Black Paint Code even exists. Most of the colors you guys have posted were pretty much "BLACK."
Hyper Black is more of a dark silver but that isn't totally gunmetal and looks little different at different angles and when light shines into it.

Something like this:
http://www.innate.com/Paint/Chrome/HyperBlack.htm
I have the Enkei GTC-01 in hyper-black. Looks more silver than anything, but it's interesting in different lighting conditions and different angles.
different wheel, but shows what it looks like. Pictures can't capture how it really looks in person though.
OP, what you can try to do is do a bright silver base and layer a dark color or maybe even tint spray over top. You'll have to experiment though. Otherwise it'll be rather expensive to get the above paint. No idea of any other manufacturers of the hyper black paint.

A little cheaper, but not by much:

You can see if it can be powder coated.
