after paying for all my classes, books, parking permit and such.. i have alittle under $100 left of 'spending' money. its not enough to buy anything performance wise so i figured i'll buy some overlays for my rear and front lights of my car. the thing is, i'm stuck between the choices and was hoping if you guys/gals can help me out w/ your opinions (yes i know that its MY opinion that matters the most cuz its MY car, but it'd be nice to get some feedback)

keep in mind that i have 10k HIDs, TYC rear lights and my car color is FM.

for the front headlights, i'll be ordering from headlightarmor.com;

should i get the smoked ones? yellow? or blue?

i really like the blue headlight overlay but the thing is, will it match my FM car with the TYC lights half smoked? or should i keep it all smoked? or just get the TYC overlays only since gettin front overlays might dim my HID output..

Smoked for fronts. I dont think the blue or yellow will go good with the color of your car. I like the bluebats rear overlays too.

if you have TYC's rears smoke them b*tches out first ...on FM i'll choose anything smoked over color just my opinion

does anybody have any pictures of a FM scion with either yellow or blue headlight overlays? i'm just curious to what it looks like. they look awesome on white cars, but i have yet to seen one on a FM scion.

I say skip the headlight overlays and go with smoke for the front side markers, turn signals on the mirrors, and tails.

I think yellow overlays with the 10k HID wouldn't look good at all. Blue would be a little better, but might hinder light output. Smoked headlights might draw unwanted attention from the police.

i have the same set up as you.. however i am a BSP with a 5k hid kit.. okay so not the same, but i do have TYC'S..

anyways, i am thinkin of goin with bats smoke taillight covers for the OEM lights, not the tyc's.. that way they will look alot better than his two piece kit for hte TYC's because hte whole thing will be smoked, and it looks 10x better than what is on that car.

and for the headlights, i would leave it with nothing.. because you already have a 10k hid kit so i can only imagine the output your getting, and a film on top of that wouuld only make it worse, so i would say leave it.. but if you must, i would go with smoke, because since our housing is black, the colored overlays do not look as good as if they were a chrome housing

smoke front and back! You glaring out ALOT of blue so i dont think yellow would look good. Blue will make it even more bluer than what it is already.

okay, so i decided that maybe smoking the front might not be such a good idea cuz of the po-po and that it'll mess slighly with the light ouput of my hids.

so now its for the TYC decision. for sure i dont want to leave it the way it is cuz the orange and all that is starting to bug me. after doing a quick search, i found like 50 posts about overlays for the TYC.

go with headlight armor rear overlays for the rear.. you will be ALOT more happier.

i say go with full smoke, they would look awesome on your ride. i know this because a friend has a FM with smoked taillights, granted they are stock.. yours will only look better
