ok, i got pulled this morning for illegal exhaust(megan) and illegal lights(green led)

im in florida
i have seen something on the lights that proves they are not illegal, where can i finsd that to print, like the real thing...

also, same for the exhaust, where can i find that its not illegal? please!!

 

go to your dmv website and it should have llegal and illegal things for your car on it.

 

No judge or inspector is going to say its ok to have green Led's.

Its going to be hard to argue anything about the exhaust either since the Drift-Spec takes out the Catalytic Converter. Well its illegal in Cali at least.

are these considered moving violations? because if they're not it may not even be worth fighting since it won't raise your insurance and it'll be a pain to go and fight them.

 

I think they are. he was also trying to tell me I flash blue and red all the time... and he's going to arrest me if he finds out it was me. I don't ever do blue or red. its stupid to do blue and red...

 

Ok, I live in Florida as well, and have delt with the same laws, so i can realate.

1st~ the warning on the exhaust, dont worry about. its just that. a warning. The only way a police officer in the state of florida can LEGALLY write you a ticket is if he has a decible reader with him to test the dicibles of your exhuast. If you get pulled over again, and they try to give you a ticket, make sure you ask him for the dicible reading.

2nd~ the lights on the car are ok to be green ONLY if you are parked. it can not be visible while driving. other colors as well. and there is no smog were i live so they dont care if you have any cats or not. hope this helped.

That sucks about the exhaust.. I got pulled over a few times after I got the exhaust put on, and the cops didn't say anything about it.

 

yea, its the same way in CALI. you are not allowed to DRIVE wit the UB kit or interior lights on. if ur parked, its find. they may stare at you, lol, but they cant do nothin unless caught driving with them on.

so yea.....it sux but........jus pay the fine and keep it movin

unless the LED's were flashing like strobes, they really can't do anything green lights underneath the car... the only way they can give you ____ about green lights if they are on the back for the license plate or if they are in the front on the hood... under the car they can't do a darn thing... about the exhaust... it was only a warning, so that should not be bad... or maybe it is a cop that has nothing else to do and/or wanted to meet a quota... I'm in Fl too...
