I hit a deer tonight? Repair Cost?
So tonight i was comming around a blind curve at like 50 mph and a deer was standing on the side of the road. When it saw me comming it jumped onto the road. I slammed on the brakes but still hit it at like 45 mph but just clipped its rear with my front left side of the car. Im fine! Both grills popped out but i was able to put the top one back in. I couldnt get the bottom one in and one of the OEM fog lights doest work anymore. I also have a dent in the front of the hood about and inch wide where it is pushed in about half an inch. Any ideas how much it will cost for the dealer or bodyshop to pop the hood back out and repaint it and replace the bottom OEM fog light? Sorry ill take pics tomorrow.

your probably lookin at a couple g's.
but I'm now collision estimater.
when my car was side swiped at 20MPH, ruined my passnager side door, quarter panel, rear bumper and rim it cost almost 5000.
stupid 17 year old that didn't look before pullin away from the damn curb.
oh well looks brand new now.

Ok well then do u think it would be cheaper just to buy a carbon fiber hood and install it myself than have to deal with the dealerships and bodyshops? I also just discovered that all that happened with the fog light is that the bulb broke so thats no big deal, n ill just pop the grill back in place.

yeah, I would buy the hood and save the cost of having the old one painted. If you are going to buy a new bodykit then I would get the front facia and just have it painted. maybe you can save some money by doing it this way.
