Default I think my intake is causing my headlights to fog up!

Almost since day one of me purchasing my headlights they've fogged up.. I've taken them out 3 times and sealed the lights and still fogged up. Last Sunday, I took my HL's out, baked them, removed the seal and then resealed them..

I woke up this morning after it had been raining all day and no fog!! so I'm thinking YES.. FINALLY..

I get to work.. and it's fogged up... is it possible that the intake is sucking in all the air in that part of the engine bay and leaving the water behind?? thats the only thing I can think of that is causing my headlights to fog up..

When I sealed it the last time.. I put a thick bead of silicon sealant inbetween the 2 housing pieces..

I just dont understand how I can wash my car.. and have it rain all night and into the morning and it's not fogged up.. then the moment I get on the freeway, it fogs up..

it's so frustrating..

because the engine heats things up which will cause condensation

it's only my left light though, which is almost directly above my intake filter.. my right light doesnt fog up at all.. only the left.

thats cause your bulbs heat up and cause the condensation in the headlight. you still seem to have not sealed them correctly or your bulb housing in not fully screwed into position on the back of the headlight.

yup.. and I paid 430 dollars for them.. when they were first generation, directly off their website. I see a few months later that they are on ebay for like less than half that price..

I even went to the Vertexracing warehouse and the owner was more then willing to help me FIX my lights, not replace them. So now I'm stuck with 430 dollar lights that fog up.. Neither side fit well either, neither of the corners line up correctly. One side is too high up and the other side is too far down..

you need to find a way to somehow throw in a little baggy of desecent found in like new shoes or something that may do the trick, I think.

that has abolutely nothing to do with the intake. and u might wanna check around where you plug the Bulbs into the HL cuz there can be cracks around there too. check them good. seal them good. and keep ur smile on about ur intake. its innocent
