are you mixing the paint yourself, or having it done professionally?

 

Uhm I am maxing it myself because I am a professional. I mix it at a local shop that has the I forgot how many. I think near 80 colors with the computer only used to pull up formulas. And the electronic scale that tells me how much to mix of each color. If I add a little bit too much of one color then the computer catches it and recalculates the amount for the formula.

Thats the first time Ive been asked if i have a professional do my stuff........

My white keyplugs are very close to the 040 color, but you can notice a slight difference, however, if i send you back my keyplugs, can you send me some black ones? I think it would go better b/c I have a door handle overylay.. see

Just got mine in and installed. Super White color is off a bit. Was hoping for 100% match... Oh well. Great Shipping Package though!

 

Like I say all the time it is real hard to color match something you have nothing to match it to. Not only that the thousands of SW out there. It cant be a perfect match to every single one because every single SW isnt the same 100% exact same compared to the next one. Its just impossible.

 

UPDATE

If you have not received your key hole or bumper plugs let me know. All orders have been shipped out to the best of my knowledge. Just let me know! I have stock of all or most colors so it wont be a problem to make sure you get them.

Not only that before I had no way of keeping track of everything 100% but now I have everything in order so if you have gotten an order and have talked to me about missing plugs, or a way off color let me know. IF the color is off by a shade or two theres nothing I can do about that because like I said earlier its not easy to match every single car with the same color. But if its waaay off like you have for example blitz blue and you have blazing blue then let me know.

I apologize for what might seem to lack of order to some people but in my deffence I am still working by myself and its hard to keep every file printed out and every paper printed out in order. I'm just trying to satisfy everybody the best I can and I can only do so many at once.

To expect the paint to match totally 100% perfectly is unreasonable. I bought my Scion lip kit after I got my car and it doesn't match and thats from friggin' Toyota themselves.

If it takes a few more days or an extra week or something to arrive, seriously who cares. If it never comes, iKona will take care of you. The drama in this thread never ceases to entertain.

The plugs are good stuff.
