It's not the ones that are lifted real high, there were a bunch of those at my school and they never bothered me. The cutoff of those ones are usually way over the top of the car anyway...It's the F-150's and 1500's that have like a 2-3" lift kit and big tires...it puts the cut off directly into your rear view mirror . Add a cutoff at the exact same height as your mirror and poor American automotive engineering, and you're just asking to be blinded.

Don't pay anyone, it's waay to easy to do. That would be a waste of money. I'm sure you know someone that has a garage at their home you could use to escape some of the cold.

I'm not sure how far Dayton is from Charleston, WV, but if you're ever in the area, I'd be glad to put them in for you at my house...

No problem.

I'll be working on my retrofit this weekend, so if you came up then I could definitely do it since I'll be doing car stuff anyway. Just send me a PM.

you're comparing apples and oranges. Projectors = type of headlight. HIDs = the bulbs in the headlights.

Huge difference, basically projectors have a controlled range of light output, standard reflection housing kinda just...throws the light out wherever. Just compare pictures of cutoffs.

Projectors. (Acura TL/TSX)

Standard crap. (96 BMW 3 Series w/ aftermarket HID's)

Do a Retrofit. Don't just buy ebay headlights and throw a PnP hid kit in them. Those projectors are made for halogen bulbs, not HID's.

Check out www.hidplanet.com, it will make you hate PnP kits too, I have one in my tC now, but it is coming out and getting replaced by a retrofit. You will spend more money retrofitting oem hid parts than just buying a PnP kit, but it will be worth it...

If you're using the stock halogens, then you will be fine. Sorry about the rant also.

I don't think there are any projectors out there that will fit a 9006 bulb..

I have no clue, I've never looked into buying projector headlights for my tC. I was mainly trying to keep him from buying ebay projectors and putting a PnP hid kit in them because he will not get the output/performance indicated in the picture you posted.

Well I did put that those were the projectors out of an Acura TL, the most commonly used projectors for a retrofit. I had no clue he was looking into Ebay projectors...
