Default IS300 headlights

I was looking through ebay for some IS300 foglights... if anyone can tell me where else I could find them I would appreciate it...
However.. I was noticing the xenon IS300 headlights and couldn't help but notice how similar the shape was to the tC... does anyone think the headlights unit will fit in the tC?

I've seen a post on here, but can't remember where...someone did put those in their tC. Might try a search in the ICE forum..maybe?

edit....actually I bet I'm remembering foglights...

ahhmm well you know the Scion is a is300 platform so I bet the headlight switch is as simple as a radiator support change (drill out the tac welds then well in new unit from lexus)

You didn't mention how much you'd like to bet, but I'll take that action.

(The tC and IS300 do not share platforms, nor anything else other than tires.)

I doubt it's that simple.

I have 3 pairs of IS300 headlights here in MA.
If anyone wants to come by to test fit, I'd be happy to lend them out.

I'm thinking I might want to try using the clear Japanese version of the IS300 foglights. But I saw them for like $350... pretty steep.

i have done the IS300 fog ligth on my super white tc. it not as simple as i thought it was going to be . you diff have to do some cutting on the bumper and and some manufacting on the is300 fog light becasue they have a cut off point so when you switch them upside down ... so they can fit in the tc vents you need to cut off the metal slap which is the cut off point the headlight will shine up. there are othere thing you have to do that i im willing to explain just pm me.... by the way anbody looking for is300 foglight go to a is300 fourm and ask if anybody is selling there i bought mine brand new from ebay still sealed in the lexus box but before i was able to find them on ebay i went to an is300 fourm and some kid pm right after i bought the new. and he was selling his for 100 dollar and they look brand new. ill pm him and see if he still has them and ill tell you how to contact him. i did my is300 conversionabout last november

I think you guys share the door latches. . . and maybe some bulb sizes. . . and I'm sure that both cars have metal on them.

The tC, as stated, does not ride on the IS300 platform. The tC shares its platform with the Toyota Avensis. But even then. . . just because cars share platforms, does not mean you can simply swap parts. The RX300, Highlander, and Sienna all ride on Camry platforms, but I doubt that swapping an RX300 door to a Camry will be an easy task. Sharing a platform doesn't mean much for Toyota, as most their cars are unibody.
Same goes for the xB/xA/Echo. . . try fitting a square xB headlight into the xA!!!! Even the Injen intake for the xB won't fit the xA!!!

the tint looks sick! I wish the tC came with the fogs like that! That looks so much better than the OEM location

you know what i think would work, is the is300 wagon foglight they are a little bit smaller then the is300. i look at there fog a couple week ago and measure it with my is300 fog that i have on now and they are a bit smaller and it look like it would fit a little better.. but i dont know someone should give it a try...

And it looks like you wouldn't have to mount the wagon lights upside-down.

OEM IS300 fogs are switched on via a rotating ring on the headlight/turn signal stalk, on the steering column. . . it's would be a lot more difficult than adding an aftermarket button. You'd also need to buy the turn signal stalk (assuming it fits, which it should).
