in the coming months someone will make a copy of it in FRP and CF, and it'll pop up on ebay. LOL.

Default Kaminari Flush Mount Wing in stock

Hey Guys, Thought I should join the forum and let you know what's happening here at Kaminari. We've been so busy w/ private label manufacturing that it took time away from developing new products (last year or so) Look for a resurgence over the next few months. We've got a few of the new tC wings ready to roll out the door. Andy's your contact at (775) 351-2240.

Cheers, B

answered and they said
we made holes in the same spot as the factory rear lip wing
so yes you can remove your oem lip spoiler and install this one!!!

That is f u c k i n g awesome! I will buy one eventually, just need to wait until the price goes down. Is there an option to double side sticky tape it down only?

Yea, but it might not hold up over time. Price is set. It's a premium product, a lot of time and energy went into designing, shaping, and finalizing the product. You get what you pay for, just like anything else.

No, It's already in BASF urethane. We'd have to make a new fiberglass/cf mold to make it happen. Right now, it would be hard to justify the cost involved and the offshore boys would have a field day of copying it and pushing it as "K Style"

Can it be installed with double-sided tape only? Is there going to be a painted-before-shipped option? If so how much?

Yes, you could use double sided 3M tape only, but there's always going to be a risk that it could fall off sometime in future when the tape starts to lose adhesion. No pre-paint deal. You have to have the wing painted to match your car at a paint/body shop.

BTW, that tC is a demo at Reno Scion. I guess they weren't ready to lower it unless, a new car buyer wanted it lowered. We've worked with a few Scion dealers now that are installing the kit before the cars go on the lot.

I apologize for the delay, a few shows were in the way but I have the pictures of the new spoiler. I wanted to thank Kaminari for making a really kick butt product, the fit and finish is amazing; the mounting hardware is top notch.

I also want to thank SCION Life’s regional sponsor Camelback Toyota for excellent workmanship on the rear spoiler getting it ready for the tC. When I hand Kaminari products to my body man at Camelback Toyota, first relief, then excitement to the quality of product he can now work with.

While I was down at www.rim1.com getting the new KONIG and TOYO shoes put on the tC I took the opportunity to snap some shots of the rear spoiler. The spoilers finish is top notch, the fit is great and meets the factory panels perfectly. No gaps or lifts to worry about. I did run mine with double side tape only and had the tC up to 80 with no issues, I DON’T recommend this. Use the factory bolt patterns and mount the spoiler.

The reason I did not: I have the full factory wing, the new spoiler will NOT cover the mounting wholes for this wing. If you have a full Kaminari wing and want this spoiler you will need to have the trunk lid wholes filled by the body shop and repainted.

If YOU HAVE the factory SCION rear lip spoiler you can use this spoiler with no issues!!! Kaminari will be confirming about the factory Pedestal

Overall, I give it a 10 as a must have buy when it comes to quality, fit, finish and looks!! Off course if you are in the need of a rear enhancement for the tC.
