kaminari hood is the best
so far it has the best fitment i have put on my car, really fast shipping, bought it friday and got it today. but they said its because someone pre order and then cancel so they had one on the shelp but still it only takes a week to make. a huge plus is NO HOOD PINS, they are strong enough they dont need them. and what got me sold is that they are cheap for who they are. i got mine for 690 shipped to my door. and shipping was 190 so 499.99 for a well known brand is cheap. i recommend them to everyone, here is some pics,
this is what i saw when i pulled up to the driveway
will post up pics of it in the day light, just installed and took pics tonight lol

awesome! but i dont know if you can safely say you dont need hood pins, despite how strong the latch is or hood, its light so if you ever crossed over 100mph..you better hope that hood doesnt smack your window

Trust me, I sat in someones ride whos hood popped open at 60mph. Its not a fun thing to watch, that hood popped in a blink of an eye, literally 2 seconds. The glass and hood was damaged beyond repair other then replacing.

It uses the same type of latch as the oem hoods. hence why you dont need pins. I've had mine for two years and havent had any problems with it. Sure, goin 100+ might increase the chance of it possibly flying up, by why would you be driving that fast anyways?

yes it probably utilizes the same latch but the hood is lighter, hence why pins are usually used for carbon fiber applications. Going 100MPH is nothing on the highway. some states even allow for 70 to 80 mph as the speed limit.

Though I suppose someone is going to chime in with the usual "but no one is around" bull____ but I don't see that as a valid excuse.
