09crimson, it's just not usually tasteful for a mostly stock (basically totally stock) vehicle to have underbody glow and what not. Basically thats all.

If all red cars have red neons, how are you standing out from the crowd by getting red neons? Sounds to me like you're conforming.

Look... everyone can respect wanting to stand out and customize your ride (that's the point of Scions, after all). But if you're trying to stand out for the wrong reasons (neon? really?), then it's not really a good thing. Sure, it is still your car at the end of the day (or your parent's car??)... but don't expect a ton of respect from people coming on here talking about your neons and red interior lights.

If you don't have a job... WAIT! Save your money and do something worth doing when you can do it. Don't rush to do something you think might be cool because it's cheap. Do it right the first time.
