.....LAMO? LAME? LAMBO?....

Those aren't lambo doors. I hate how that word gets thrown around now. Those are VERTICAL doors. VERTICAL doors, by using the stock hinge location, rotate out a touch (enough to get in the car in many cases) and THEN rotate up. TRUE lambo doors have the hinge located more on the A-Pillar and its more of a rotational hinge, thus there is no outward opening first, the door from the start rotates up.

....Drain wash water from doors.....
^^Agreed. They work on a Lamborghini. The door lifts up and out of the way of the triangular door opening. On a TC, you need to be a contortionist to squeeze past the door that blocks the doorway even when opened fully.
Box people do this as well. It just does not work well for full size humans. Kids do love it, however.

Eh, I partly agree to the above comments about the vertical doors. On that stock looking tC above, a big WTF comes to mind. But on a heavily modded car, it doesnt look too bad.
I prefer vertical doors on cars without a window frame on the door however.
Personally, I'd never do it. But I don't hate on them all together. It's just another mod that can be done when all the bases have been covered (suspension, wheel/tire, body kit, engine mods, interior, etc)

I think that they're one of those things that looks cool in person and cool when you're at a show or with other Scions, but goofy and not-too-great when you're driving by yourself to the grocery store. Kind of like neons in my book.
Though, I also think they've become a requisite for a car that wants to win shows. It's kind of sad.

still and all their LAMBO doors, they got the idea from the Lamborghini's so the word is not "tossed" around, just because somebody came up with the idea to put LAMBO doors on cars that's not a fraction of the cost of one, and chose to call them "vertical" doors doesn't deter from the fact that they came from Lamborghini's....
and for anybody who wants to get smart with me, yes i do know that Mercedes was the first to come up with the "vertical" or "bat-wing" doors.

"Lambo" doors are really nice, we have 4 tCs with Lambo doors in my car club, they look good and trun heads where ever you go, here are some pics of the cars:
IMO, they are totally worth it, if you can afford it of course, lucky for us we get a good deal on these from JTAutostyle.

What gets attention is what gets attention... One lift of my arm and EVERYWHERE I am at, people love them and ask how I did them, come up... gas stations are the best...
Haters can Hate, But the tC is beautiful if done right with doors.

I don't understand why every complains about "lambo" doors so much. Who cares if they came from Lambo's. It doesn't mean you are trying to be one. IMO, if it looks good, it looks good who gives a damn if it's on another car or not. I give props to those who have 'em, and I think they look great.

id like to see a kit that actually puts the doors at 90deg... not 45 like you see i the pics.. then maybe they would be usefull...
