Yeah, I figured it would come to that. Same thing with HID color, headlight LEDs, etc.

though this thread alone will have a slight bias in one direction or another, it's full purpose is to compare the two with one photo side-by-side along with the two photos with locked camera settings.

because of the photo issues previously mentioned, there was no definite way to compare the two tbls in photos on an even level.

one guy with a one of the tbl's might have one picture insanely bright, the other insanely dim.. and then things just get messed up with people not sure what or who or huh?!?

the only real comparison is really indeed in person, which some people don't have the luxury of having, so locking the camera and being able to have the two together in the same photoshoot is really the 2nd best option.

for opinions, those are opinions and i though i may support one over another, it doesn't mean that i don't welcome others (as long as they are said in a tactful way)

we are all adults here and there's no need for high school, childish nonsense.

in the end, it's still up to the customer to decide what to purchase.

I had a similar issue with my Oznium TBL, but due to their excellent customer service it was dealth with in just a couple days. I have not dealt with the LED Headz, so I am not sure how well they take care of their customers. I wasn't concerned about brightness but I was concerned how horrible the stock TBL looks. I still may modifiy my stock TBL into something that production company TBL's won't compare with.

Trung, I picked up a Oznium tbl, but now I'm having second thoughts. Knowing my luck, some LEDs will burn out within a few weeks/months. lol Can I just give you the tbl and you do your LED Headz deal with it? I'm leaving the 20th to go back to school, so do you think we could work out something, so I can get it back before I leave?

I guess I'll put my input:

Oznium goes all the way across. Looks great from far away but as u get close u see the LED's doing a wavy effect. Another difference is that their LED's are in a straight line ************* pretty much like a Cadillac. Some like it some down. (personal taste)

LED Headz is insanely bright but does not go all the way to the edge but it is still better than stock anyways. If installed properly, you can get the LED's to curve to the natural shape of the TBL which also fits the shape of the trunk.

Customers Feedback:
I had customers that previously had Oznium or VRD TBL and wanted to switch to LED Headz mainly because of the dim issue. Oznium also has issues with the lens having pits and dips.

There were also cases where the TBL just fell apart.

However, I had people that went the Oznium route basically because it is cheaper than the LED Headz core exchange price or because they didn't have a dremel to open their stock TBL (DIY).

In the end the decision is yours to make. :D

Well, I don't want to keep taking the stupid thing on and off my car multiple times if I have issues. I just want to deal with it once, and in doing so, expect the worst. I just want the peace of mind that nothing will happen once I put it on. The LED Headz seem like the best bet for that.

I tried search, which brand was everyone finding water in their cargo area after it rained? Moisture shorting out the LED's in the full TBL?

HAVE 2ND THOUGHTS!!!

Oznium will stand behind the product for 12 months from the original purchase date.

Say you buy a TBL today and a LED burns out in November. You contact them right away and they WILL send you a FREE replacement.

Now, the 2nd only lasts for 4 months before you have the same problem.

WELL, NOW YOU'RE SCREWED.

Per my email with Oznium Support in my own replacment issue:

I can understand your frustration, but that goes with any warranty period. If the engine in your car dies due to a defect durring your warranty period and is replaced, the warranty period does not restart for your engine, oznium shouldn't be any different with their products.

i think it is all about personal preference. i personally like the curved style from LH, but i think Oznium is brighter. I am one person though, so again, personal preference. thanks for showing the side by side pic!

I respectfully, and totally, disagree with you.

Using your own example …..

Let’s say your car’s motor died with 1 month left on your powertrain warranty and it was replaced for free. The new motor would carry IT’S OWN warranty that would certainly extend past the date of just the original powertrain.

Would it restart the whole powertrain warranty, of course not. Would other things that the powertrain covered be covered, no. But the new motor would not just “be your problem” after only 1 month in service.

^^ i agree, i think every new product that is giving out should have its own warranty. maybe he isnt giving out new warrantys with the replacements because he doesnt have faith in his products and he knows they will eventually fail.
