^^ also, leaving people with products they can't replace anymore under warranty...

and he'll provide "customer service" by offering you a greatly discounted price for you to purchase a new one..

which at that point.. also, will not have much better quality or guarantee that it won't fail again.. then leaving you.. yet again, with less money in your wallet.

So the competition offers a lifetime warranty? I am curious as it seems I made a huge mistake with my Oznium TBL as it has failed once in this year and will soon be out of warranty. I should have had mine done by some guys in a garage with no warranty offered or implied?

Hey, I told you guys that if you were going to use a picture of my car, that I was going to need some free stuff !!

Seriously though, after having worked with Oznium.com and LEDheadz, it really gets down to what you as a consumer are looking for in your third brake light. You can have it clean and crisp, like the Oznium unit, or you can have it insanely bright, like the LEDheadz unit. Both have exceptional customer service (speaking solely from my own experinces) and stand behind their products. However, Oznium does have a print warranty of one year, which makes you feel all warm and secure, while LEDheadz takes the "You can stick your head up a bulls a$$ and get a good look at a T-bone, or you could just take a butchers word for it" approach. I guess the question is, how would you rather buy a steak?

*shows you a cow*
what part you want me to cut?

yea, "warranty" though not stated, is just given. for work that involves hands on labor, there are various factors involved in repairing any problems, but in general, it is all covered to the full satisfaction of the customer (take it as being lifetime, even) coming from the horse's mouth

that of course still has its limitations (I.e. not fixing something you or anyone else did that broke it) however, we're human and will do our best to work with you

I'm on my 2nd oznium TBL and haven't had any problems *knocks on wood* this time around..the first one had some burnt out LED's on it after a short period but no issues with the other one, haven't noticed any dimples or anything either..guess i'm one of the lucky ones?

Call me biased but I have ordered from oznium several times and have not had any issues. I might be selling mine next summer if it still works because I'm considering parting out the car, so hopefully by then everything will still be working ok.

i asked for warranty on my LED headz and was given a "sorry, it shouldn't be burnt out" but i had a flickering on one side that kept going in and out if i tapped it. eventually it went out and looked funky with one side lite up, so the other i had to disconnect the other side so now im back to looking stock. whats up with that?

I can say both look great on their own merits.I am on my second from OZnium.....it had 3 leds die with 3 weeks left on the warrenty and they replaced it in like 2 days.Mine is very bright.the other one also looks really good as well. But all in all any part can and will fail.LEDs fail all the time.

I had to have my first Oz light replaced but it sounds like they had a bad batch and replaced right away without question and not needing me to send back the first. Now over a year on my care and no signs of quality issues. I ahve nothing but good things to say about them.

You might have have to redo the connections. Have you taken off your interior panels and pushed around the wiring? Based on your description, I'm guessing the crimps/ quick-connects used have either cut through a wire or just gotten loose from vibration / age. I'd suggest redoing the crimp / quick-connects. Unless your one array doesn't light up at all.

Try PMing Trung / Squallheart. He goes down to Socal on occassion and can take a look at it for you.

If my Oznium goes out again and out of warranty I will probably end up making my own with fitting as many superflux LED's as possible.
