Did you adjust tor headlights down or lower your car when you made the switch? Both of those might have angled the light down too far..I wouls say to check how the bulbs are seated too but the 9006's just fit...try adjusting the housings 8mm wrench will get you going!

My beam is very low to the ground. I think the different diameter of bulb (HIDs are really skinny) may affect the way the light refracts if the housing. I need to adjust my headlights up...

I was thinking the same Mike. But I think that if we do aim them higher the glare will kick in.

Take pics of the hid's then switch back to stocks and compare seems strange that the hid's are not going as far as the halogens..

It doesn't reach as further out as the stock ones because when installing them we most prob. all tended to directed them lower

tC_skier - I don't think the brand will make any difference. Its just a question of angles. I have prolumen and I still notice "decreased visibility"

ah so many mixed opinions. I just read this entire thread and I'm no better off in making a decision. Although a lot of people seem to like the McCulloch HIDs off of eBay.

Yeah Looks like the Ebay McCulloch kit is the popular choice. But at half the price of the XenonDepot ones, it's a tough decision.

According to their site you only get 1 year.

Also, how long do HID Bulbs last?
