i think just about 90% of the people running a aftermarket tow hook will never use it for towing because if a tow truck actually came out they are not gonna hook to that they are gonna hook to the factory hook or to a axle like there taught not to some aftermarket looking hook.
so with that said most people are running it for looks anyways and it looks pretty sweet

Ebay.. they are like 40 bucks I think. I have heard the cheap ones fade though.

yea but be careful you dont scratch your paint...wrap a paper towel or another thin towel around the end of the screwdriver

Purpose of a tow hook is not like you think. A tow hook is used when say a car goes off into a ditch and a winching is required to pull the car out. The vehicle isn't actually towed from one spot to a shop using a tow hook since it gives the tow truck no control over the vehicle.

I will say again. Tow hooks are only for situations where a vehicle needs to be winched out because the truck cannot get to the vehicle. Why do race cars have tow hooks? Because tracks have sand/gravel pits in which the tow vehicles will not enter, thus them towing them out via a winch.
