Here it is so far to give you an idea of what it will start to look like.
So far we have the thread done as I said as well as the diameter.
The round base that you see is going to be cut with holes in order to fit the bracket for the license plate.
It will be done at an angle in order to have it align with the bumper's curve.
We hopefully can get some work done in the shop next week, time permitting. Trust me I am more excited about this then any of you are!
***I have another pic that compares this to the original tow hook, I will have to upload that at another time as it is saved on another computer

Prototype Images:
***Alright here is the Prototype****
I called my Dad today and told him we need to move on this thing. He brought me a surprise.
Remember this is the Prototype, we are going to refine this next week and buy supplies.
Here you go!:
This is the current gap, not too bad but we're going get a lot closer:
So this is what we are going to work on from here:
Make the backing plate closer to the bumper
Make the angle of the plate less severe, more parallel
Please let me know what you think, any suggestions good/bad comments etc are encouraged. This is made as much for me as it is for you all! Thanks!

First off you have a very nice product, very creative! I would like to note that you can save a lot of money on labor/materials/shipping if you reduce the weight by making the rod straight through instead of having that big round head. Also the license plate isnt that heavy and doesnt need that much support. You can weld a bracket at the end of the rod to mount the license plate.

The design is different then what you see above. I do not want to show the rest of the product until we are ready to ship it however it does not have that large "head" at the top anymore. That was an update prior to the milling being done. Also the entire product will be done without welding. I hope to have this entire project wrapped up before the end of May. I also have a surprise coming with what we are doing with this the will separate us from all of our competitors. We're very excited!
