Here they are so far and you can see what we do here:
Cutting on the bandsaw
Stocks cut after the band saw, they have little afros on them!
Then goes into the CNC machine to get shaped and the threads go on it
Before and after
Here is 8 of them done (we have more done then that, I just took the pic at
Next step for us it getting them drilled for the mounting screws and cut to bend with the bumper.
Then we have a mounting plate of the plate and we are all done! Hopefully some more good news tomorrow!

Hey thanks for the updates and the pictures. Just curious, how will you angle these? I'm assuming it's going to be the actual plate mount that is angled, not the threaded portion, am I correct on this? Also, any updates as far as price? I'm definately down to be on the list, but it does ride on the pricing. Thanks for making these!

The base of these are going to be cut, I do not want to divulge the angle however it will be in alignment with the bumper so that they follow the contour unlike our competition.
Pricing will come as soon as I have the plates made for the actual license plate. They are hopfully getting stamped out today, however we shall see. Due to the holiday it has screwed up some of our plans in that we are pushed down the list. None the less I Should have a price for you guys this week.

I asked about this, because i was wondering how you were able to make sure the cut will always be facing the correct way. I guess if you completely bottom out the mount before cutting then you should be good to go, i just hope everyones tow hook mount is identical, otherwise, they might bottom out prematurely and the angle would be off then. Am I making sense? just a concern i had, that's why i asked if the angle would be built into the plate mount instead of the base.
When we have the final part done I will show you how we eliminate this issue. Thanks for the input!

THEY ARE DONE!!!!!!!!
We are picking up the hardware and I am going to USPS and we will have a price for you! Here are the final pics:
This is it installed in the socket, screws in nice and tight. Should be able to install these by hand.
This is about how far it should stick out from the bumper, side shot.
These are aluminum plates that will come with self-tapping screws to attach the license plate to. These are also 4 stainless steel screws that attach aluminum plate to the UHMW piece.
This is fitment when you are done, should should not be able to fit a dime between bumper and plate!
Questions/comments Let Me Know!

I'm assuming you're going to have holes predrilled or something to attach your license plate to it, correct? Oh yeah and it looks good just waiting for pricing before I commit to one.

We can, however I figured self tapping screws would be easier for people as they may want the screws in different spots etc.
