Default Luminics or Nokya?

I'm going to carry one of these two product lines. I know there are other great brands too, like Piaa and Sylvania, but they have hefty buy-ins, and I can only afford to carry one line at this time.

Help me decide!

Your experiences with the products are helpful -- customer service stories don't help me so much, as I'll be providing my own.

I've never used Luminics, but Nokya seem to be the better choice. I really like my yellow ones.

Let me try to be subtle about this...

LUMINICS SUCK !!!

I used them in my headlights and they melted my wiring harness. Reliability is definitely an issue with these bulbs.

Nokya are not bad for the money, and they don't cause problems either.

I switched to the Sylvania SilverStars and they are awesome. The only way I can get better lighting is to go HID.

I got some Nokyas real cheap from ebay.. I forgot the seller but they were like $10 cheaper than anywhere else.

Had them for like 6 months so far and they are running strong. Got some for my highs and lows (artic purple) they have such a pure white color it puts my VRD bulbs to shame. Light output on my purples are no better than stock though. So if you want better light output they won't do much for you.

Ah... the good ol' days of SL when Luminics used to roam the forums. Gloating about how "great" the bulbs were.
6 months later, people who used their bulbs were complaining about melted harnesses. People tried to PM Luminics
here on SL to no avail. Soon after, the dude completely fell off the earth. Talk about great customer service!

Noya FTW.

my luminics didnt burn my wire harness thankfully, however they burned out within 6 months. even if it was $20 you kind of expect a longer life and better quality...
