MUD FLAPS ON A TC ANYBODY GOT OPINIONS?

Plenty of people on here including me, have mudguards. They really help keep the sides of your car cleaner if you live in an area with lot of rain/snow.
Also their design isn't that bad, they're narrower than most OEM mudguards. They won't fit if you have the OEM ground effects kit though.
Here's a pic of mudguards on mine:

I'm lowered on TRD springs and never have a problem with speed bumps. They're up high enough that they'll clear all speed bumps.
As for painting them, not really necessary on a dark color. Also like tikbhoy said, the paint would most likely chip and crack. Not worth the paint costs on a $30 part.

I have it on my CSM and you can barely notice them. They blend in real well. Even if you live in a dry area, they are still great, because the sides of the tC will get chopped up from pebbles and still get dirty too. Every time you peel out, you have to wash the sides of your tC. I drove around without mudguards for the first couple weeks of having my car and I had to wash it everyday. It took my 1/2 hour to install. It took so long cause I was nervous about drilling holes into my new car, but I'm glad I did it.
