TSX projectors are notorious for that flare, plus my camera sucks. I spent like 2 hours adjusting them. You should definitely do a retro man, I went from a HID kit to this and I will NEVER put a kit in another car again. It costs to buy all the stuff to do the retro, but it's worth it IMO.

I used E46 BMW Single Xenon Shrouds, painted them gloss black.

I had about $500 in everything, but I didn't have to buy ballasts.

Looks good man. But I'd probably just buy a made one too, instead of doing it myself. Nice job!

I'm going to mess with the bulb spacing this weekend to see if I can get any of that flare out.

As far as buying a pre-made set, people are charging $$$$ for them.

looks very good. very similar to mine. I used the same shrouds and painted them gloss black as well. it makes the headlight look aggressive. I cant stop admiring mine.

haha, that makes me feel better, I've parked my car across the office every day since they've been done so I can just look at them...

Very nice retrofit! Actually to all retrofits. I think that's going to be my next mod after I got my in dash DVD/GPS unit. Not sure if you posted it but what brand HID's are you running?

Clear Lens color-modded TSX projector, Philipps 85122+ bulbs, and Hella Gen 3 knockoff ballasts from my PnP HID's I had in before the retro. You should definitely do a retrofit, the light output is insane. If you need any help or have any questions just let me know and I'll do my best to help you out.
