If anyone cared to know, I eventually was in the area where I bought my tC.

The dealership admitted to not having the sensor "properly adjusted."

This was about mid-June.

After proving I paid a $250 deductible, I EVENTUALLY, i.e. 10 weeks later, got a check a few weeks ago from Scion.

So for what it's worth, if you have an incident where they may be at fault, there is some recourse...

Just wanted to give others hope I suppose.

But as the last poster said, always go with factory glass.

I'm sorry to hear that. I know how you feel about being spoooked. I had my old Civic stolen when it was about 30 yards away from me. Kinda wish I would have seen those little ******, they wouldn't have knee caps anymore.

this was done a couple of months ago and i was ____ssed that my alarm didnt go off




i still havent had a chance to take it to the dealer place but im going to this weekend..

what did you exactly say to the dealer.. because i have a feeling they wont know what im talking about *tweaking the alarm*


they just did it to vandalize my car.. they didnt take anything at all.. (in my own DRIVEWAY)

it was a tiny hole.. the size of a nickle and everything was spiderglass...

i guess it was done with a sparkplug
