Default New 2008 lights, but 9006 to H11 conversion???

whats good,

I just picked up a pair of 08 headlights from Josh at TRDSparks. Thanks again man, the lights look great. But now my problem is converting to the H11. I want to ask all the others who have already bought these lights too, how the heck do you guys splice the wires into H11?

Or even better, is there an HID kit out there that offers a 9006 ballasts with an H11 connection? Some feedback would be great, peace

2005 to 2007 headlights = 9006 halogen type

2008 headlights = H11 projector type

ECS Wiring Harness Kit, 9006 Male To H11 Female

http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/...egory=Lighting

But most HID seller should be willing to do a custom kit with 9006 ballasts and H11 bulbs.

hhmmm, i thought when you purchase a HID kit, the only thing you need to do is switch out the 9006 bulbs to h11 bulbs, and all the wires stay the same... right?

^ thats correct, all ballast are the same. its just the different type of bulb you have to put on. If you already have an hid kit. just buy h11 bulbs from the same seller you got the kit from and your all set.

If you don't have an HID kit, just ask for a 9006 kit with H11 bulbs. I believe most sellers will do this for you.

If you do have a kit, just get new H11 bulbs and use the same kit. That's what I did.

you could just cut the 9006 wires and pick up an H11 wire and solder on the plug. BAM you're set!

I've had quite a few questions about these new tC projector headlights and what tC owners need to do to upgrade...

Just order an H11 kit and send me a note about how you want it with a 9006 harness and I'll customize it for you.

Easy Peazy!
