Where I live in Texas, 25% is the legal limit (front side windows), but under 20% is when they start writing tickets (according to a State Trooper) or fail you for inspection stickers (according to a state inspector). IMO, 35% is too light to bother with. I always had 20% on my old cars and never had a problem (in Louisiana).

My new car has 7% tint (according to the State Trooper's meter) on the front windows. It came with the car when I bought it. My inspection sticker has to be renewed in February. So I'm going to pull the tint off the windows, get it inspected, then get it retinted at 5%. :D

I wrote a note to myself to go to paint shop and look for silverflake and something else you put on another post.

Start your DIY post and post a link here when ya do.

I'LL BE WAITING!!!! (w/my more than usual psycho stare) Lol

(no really, psycho stares)

Or
a "Tomas" (moderator) stare, but I'm not posting another pic of that face. Its starting to get as scary as the clown avatar stare *blink*

Take your time................................ its not gonna stay forty degrees round here much longer, and I don't have the 50 bucks to buy the spray paint. But long as you do it before summer................. Michigan weather :-( and no garage.

I might try it a little later after snow season starts n ends.

But if you see anyone in the driveway shot em! Cause it aint me.

If May06 rolls around and no post????? Then its probably me.

Man this week sucks..........dont have any money to even buy two cans of paint or masking tape. I been off work for several days............................................ Post DIY whenever you want. But if you need to do it now so you don't forget, go right ahead. Or you could pm me the list of items to get started or something, when I do get a pay check again, I could start. Its 40 this week, and no snow................ the weather here is tempting me again. Ehhh michigan is tricky with the weather. I think I'll just go wash my car instead.=cheaper that a cheap mod
