after reading some other members problem with it sticking, i went outside to double check mine, the right side was coming off as well. I cleaned it with alcohol prior to installation.

i had mine with my pedestal spoiler, it looks good but i think a lip spoiler or no spoiler at all gives it a better flow .

check it again because I was thinking the same thing when i pushed it back down, I tried lifting it and everything but it wouldn't move then after like 2 hours that damn spot lifted up again and when i just gave up after 2 more tries i took it off, it came off VERY easily.

Imma try to redo it, I was thinking that using some wider double side and sticking it closer to the inner part of the spoiler can probably protect it from the wind. Imma do the heat gun thing too

I was afraid to put a heat gun against it my fear was that I would warp the spoiler since I mess things up like that.

i think a heat gun might be too hot, a hair dryer might be a better idea. ill be trying the haird dryer once mine pops up again.

I just checked it again the top left corner (Driver Side) was still stuck but upon me pulling from the back it lifted right up but the long strip in the middle is pretty stuck on there.

What would you guys recommend me doing? Applying the hair dryer over the visor where the 3m is located or completely take it off and use the hair dryer directly to the 3m tape then re-paste?

I would rather just do the hair dryer over the visor but you do yall think it might warp the visor???

i would just heat up the visor a bit. that would in turn heat up the adhesive. i guess installation really does matter for this. it gets harder to re-adhere the roof visor to the glass after it's been exposed to external elements, so as a last resort, i would cut off the tape from the end , and maybe stack 2 fresh 3m double stick tapes to replace it.

One thing I do notice from the ones sold for SC's, is that the ends do tend to come loose, but the rest of the roof visor is so well stuck on there, no one really gaf about it.

So to those who haven't installed it yet, wipe down with alcohol before, and make sure it's super dry.. heat up the adhesive (if you're not prone to over-doing it, heat gun will be fine), stick it on as rennsport mentioned, and then push down for a good while on it.

lol people that are trying to use cold 3m adhesive, in the cold arent very bright. Cold 3M double side tape looses almost all of its potential strength when its cold. You need to heat the tape up by using a low temp heat gun or a hair dryer. This way the tape can become more flexible and allow itself to use more surface area to cling to the window. Hope that helps.
