Yes, they are still reflectors, just small and appear to have the look of projectors. But they do not actually have projectors.

Thanks for the comment. As for the costs..... well, the parts alone is enought to burn anybody's pockets.

I added all of those up at the most expensive prices, and it is still within what I was going to pay for somebody else, assuming you'll do labor for $300-400. And so far, i'm trusting you more than this complete stranger on this site that I was originally looking at: http://izntrbl.vstore.ca/

Plus, you have a tC. That guy does a LOT of them for many vehicles. That doesn't make me comfortable at all when it comes to aiming them.

Oh... I know him/her. He/she post here and there on HIDplanet. He does good work though, but it looks like he specializes in chevy and poniacs.

PS. my labor price is not within the range that you indicated. I wonder how much izntrbl charge for labor?

$300. I'd go up to $500 before i'd get reeeaally iffy. I don't intend on spending my entire summer saving on headlights, but I really want them.

I hope you're talking about labor only when you mentioned 500. If you are, then you have a big budget. If you're talking about the whole retrofit fund, then you're hopeless. LOL

Oh noooo, I know i'm looking at $1200+. I'm referring to labor. To be honest, these are at the tip top of my list, which is why i'm willing to spend so much. I'm not taking any twisties that require coilovers anytime soon, exhausts can wait, etc. etc.

So are you implying that your labor is less than $500?

Yeah, I guess. It's a nice and fun hobby. Somewhat like art.

hey noodle... do you think you could retrofit HID projectors into the ANZO headlights? and do you know of any HID projectors that take 9006 bulbs? i have an HID kit that i baught off of a sponsor here on scionlife and i love them, but i would love HID projectors. im pretty sure that he also sells D2S bulbs that would plug into the ballasts i have so i could always do that. but just wondering. maybe that could be a new project for you?

also i sent you a PM

Sorry bud. Somebody asked me to retro an aftermarket headlights before, but I just had to turn him down. Aftermarket headlights required you to do so much modification in order to fit the HID projectors in there. I'ts not fun.

HID projectors will either take D2S or D1S. I heard that there is D4S, but I've never seen them. If you plan to do retro, your HID kit is useless. If you would do retrofit, why would you use aftermarket bulbs instead of OEM bulbs. OEM bulbs will give you more precision.

hmmm...... I suppose you have a pair of Anzo. Typically, I would not recommend this, but if you aim for low budget, you can use the hid kit along with the anzo projectors. That's something different. The anzo projectors will probably output less glare than the stock housing. Nonetheless, there is still glare.

i dont have the anzos as of now, i plan on gettin them this summer, changing them around a bit and swapping the projectors in them, but idk if thats possible, worth it, or too much for me to handle but i want to keep the HID kit i have now because im happy with the output of it just want somethin to compliment it, plus i like the way the anzos look, out of all the projectors out there, and i dont have the funds for HID retrofits.
