I just ordered thes led's from ledmod.com yesterday and i got them today Installation seemed pretty easy, but it was hard to get the socket out, tried a few times with my hand but it was to hard so instead i used a plier and a soft cloth and wallah, just be careful not to break the sockets, just be gentle when pulling them out.

Most of the time when you first pull out the socket, it's really tight..
But after remove once, next time it will be lose.. if you need to remove it again...

Guys, the Aluminum sinked wicked bulbs I carry are insane an bright for the license plate lights! Also the color looks like an 6K HID. They look simply stunning!

http://store.garage1217.com/insane-1...edg194168.html

- Best part is they are only $4.19ea!

- Priority mail shipping is just $4.99 for any qty of whatever you order from me!

- I STAND 110% BEHIND MY PRODUCTS!

- You can use the same bulb in the front domes! WICKED BRIGHT! They do not look so blue in person, more like a crystal white, exactly like the lexus plate bulbs!

PM me anytime if you have any questions on them!

Here is a photo in my XD of how bright they are!

They are more than bright enough / look quite amazing and for a very very good price! One heck of a good little bulb. Will be posting pics of the current revision of the bulbs housings this evening as well as some photos on my various scions & cars. They are quite a bit brighter and actually have a better color than the oem lexus units which is simply perfect in my eyes. Very classy looking without looking overpowering like two led flashlights on the back of the car. My personal favorite 194/168 style bulb

Here are some updated pics of my aluminum ringed 194 bulbs. They are simply STELLAR. The perfect compliment to a sweet ride! Pics are on my blacksand pearl XD. I played with the brightness to make it look exactly as bright as I see it with my own eyes and not look over exposed or brighter than they really are. Actually in person, the licence plate bulbs are brighter than in the pics! Even on my black bumper & on black pavement they cast a very nice pure white hid look!

I have hundreds in stock & you can find them right here in my site!

That is just over exposed picture...

Don't believe what you see on the pictures from the net
Most of time, it's either picture wasn't taken properly or it's been photochopped..

I try to take picture that is close to what you see in person..
That is one of the reason I got my self a DSLR camara

These pictures are taken with DSLR camera.. and they do look close to what you see in the person..

if you dont mind. can you check if the brake lights are an LED bulb or what exactly is in there. I know they have LED tails but dont know if its an LED housing or LED bulb? It looked like today they have an LED bulb, not LED housing? If its a bulb i would like to know what kind. Im sure only Lexus would have it. Thanks!

interesting... i took that picture. with a Nikon DSLR. Looking at the exif data, it was taken in Shutter Priority mode. the exposure is .1 aka 1/10. it is definitely NOT overexposed. the lights are handmade and brighter than any other license plate light on the market. that was the whole point behind them... i was tired of the garbage plug&play "LED bulbs" that are too blue and no brighter (usually dimmer) than stock filament bulb lighting being sold all over the web.

not saying mine are better. just brighter, lower color temperature (than most), and more reliable. and i only bring it up because my photo was accused of being a fake or "photoshop" when it's not. no hard feelings :D

long story short... they suck. cheap LEDs being overdriven with too much current. sure they are bright at first, then fade, then flicker, then die :-(

when you make your own, you custom design the circuits with quality components so that they run at optimal performance for brightness and longevity.
