^^ya, but I am wondering why it's only happening on the left side. The right LED is from the first set that I got a year ago.

not saying mine are better. just brighter, lower color temperature (than most), and more reliable. and i only bring it up because my photo was accused of being a fake or "photoshop" when it's not. no hard feelings :D
Oh I'm sorry.... I thought that it was using plug n play style LED bulb...
I've seen to many plug n play style LED and make them look so bright...
I do take LED lighting seriously, but glad that no hard feeling...

I think it looks really cool! Way to bright for what I would want on my own cars, but man that would be the hotness at shows and I bet turns some heads!! Good work! & Having a white XB helps show how bright they are.

i think i finally found a set of "WHITE" license plate lights. Ive gone through a good amount of LED's to find the color and ALL came out blueish. I tried to search on ClubLexus.com but their license plate lights are a strip of LED's i think. The older models did recommend these other bulbs that are the closest to the color. Polarg M4 bulbs. Got them on ebay for around $8 shipped. Here's some non-over exposed pics taken with my Nikon D40 in S mode.

Both bulbs installed.

Stock vs New Bulb

1 LED vs New Bulb

6 LED vs New Bulb

i had trouble on the last pic and its showing the New Bulb looking yellow compared to the 6 LED bulb, thats not the case. the New Bulb is alot whiter compared to the pic.

Seriously, these are the best and "WHITEST" bulbs ive come accross when using them for my license plate. i think the bulbs are better than an LED style since it shines more light compared to an LED is just directional.

Enjoy!

Both of the LED bulb is forward facing, so it's not worth using it for license plate....
You gotta get the LED bulb that will aim downward, so it can light up the license plate..
Which is I sell on my site...

i don't know... everything i've ever tested that sells at Wal-Mart, Auto Zone, Shucks, etc... all end up to be total garbage.

im willing to bet if walmart sold stickers with all their automotive stuff that said "Wal-Mart Racing" people would add them to the "sponsors" on their car.

how would i do this if i have "dynamat" all on the inside of the hatch? Is there a way to remove the bulb from the outside like taking off the clear cover? Or will I just have to cut into my dynamat? If you don't understand what I am saying is that there is dynamat all on the hatch, so when i remove the two latches that reveals the light bulbs for the license plate I cannot even get to my bulb and I sort of do not want to cut into the Dynamat.
