And when you loosen the bumper you will hear some ugly cracking noises, but they are just the clips releasing.

Page 2, "Loosen Bumper"

Doesn't look like you take it all the way off, but pretty darn close.

It is basically removing the bumper. You will need to pull and tug pretty hard to pop it off of the clips, but that's the hardest part. You might want to have a shop do it if you're weary of the procedure, but you'll save a lot of money if you do it yourself.

those are ok, better than what they look like in the first place, but the only way i would buy them is if bluebatmobile made them so the bottom LED part was all red, and the top was all red, leaving the amber in the middle.

I don't know what all the scion people's obsession is with "getting rid of the amber". with many other car communities such as most hondas/acuras and subarus, they try to keep more amber in, instead of going with this "euro" styling.

now, about 3 years ago, amber wasn't cool at all. now it is, apparently. i like it.

amber in certain areas is cool, cuz people think its JDM..redded out taillights are also cool wit hondas. he does have the all red overlays, they just arent pictured. he said with all three of his overlays for the TYC's you can get smoke or redout. im gonna get these right now, and a little later get the 6/10 tint overlays that go over the stock ones..just so itll be different.

The TYC LEDs are definitely worth the price and bumper removal! The night we put ours on, I made my wife drive it around for an hour just so I could follow and stare at the LEDs!

Default A question

Is it best to try to install the overlays with the tail lights out?

Then I'll be more interested in installing the TYC my self as to get the overlays on and then babam new bad ___ Tails.
