I just ordered the red tbl, badgeless rear garnish, TYC Tails, and a set of black Konig Heliums wrapped in Nitto Neo Gens. After that it should look alot better.

You would feel safer??
I would feel safer for a fellow tC owner who decided to drag race with a more reliable suspension than stock...

...we gotta look out for each other sometimes....

Actually, there wont be any drop. Im doing a serious turbo setup(Turbo Toyotas Ver 2.1 Stage 3 GT turbo kit) and from what I've read the best suspension for 1/4 mile racing is the stock setup.. But I am getting a set of 17 inch rota gt3's black w/ polished lip.
I can tell you right now, that the rear springs are way too soft to be the optimal choice for drag racing.
So what would be a better alternative?? link me up!
The best alternative is getting minimal weight transfer during acceleration. You want to keep the ___ up and the nose down. That way you will prevent the front from lifting, reducing traction.

Well I understand the physics of it I meant what other suspension setup would sucessfully do that?

So the TRD shocks and springs should help quite a bit?? I just dont want to be low enough to scrape anything at all inclines, declines, or speed bumps my cobra is really low and it annoys the crap outta me when it scrapes

The TRD will help, won't be optimal but will be a huge improvement over stock. I've got a nasty lip in my driveway, and on my TRD springs, I haven't bottomed once, and I've got the lip kit. On my S-techs, with no lip kit...I smacked the pavement everytime I went in and out.

So should I run the TRD springs and shocks or would just the springs be ok? Also what setup would be optimal for drag racing?

you could even go as far as the TRD coilovers...or Tein Coilovers...or B&G Coilovers...ANYTHING is better than stock especially if you're seriously going to be drag racing...1/4 mile runs will be better with a TIGHT suspension and options you can adjust on the fly!

Trust us...you NEED some suspension upgrades!

Bought it from VRD (Vertex Racing Development) but I bought it from their Ebay store so it was a little cheaper.
