Default OEM Ground Effects Kit

I'm looking at possibly getting the OEM Ground Effects Kit. Does anyone have any good/bad/anything reviews on it?

I've searched on the boards and not really seen to much about it. I don't want anything crazy, just something that adds a little extra detail to it.

Thanks!

it gives the car a little more of an agressive apperance when lowered, IMO. and they drop the ride height by about an inch anyway.

there should be a lip kit thread somewhere around here.

all i can say is it's a perfect fit and very subtle.

trdsparks.com

get it from there.

The Lip Kit Thread:
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=147235

Might I also suggest the Five Axis lip kit? Also pretty clean IMO. Check the Sponsored Sales forum for some deals.

yep the stock kit or the 5AD kit are some of the best looking ones out there and both are easy installs and great fitting, little triming needed on either.

only downfall of the OEM Gfx kit is you have to make holes in your front and rear bumpers

so if you would ever decide to sell it, you could run into trouble!

FIVEaxis Kit > all others. (Although OEM Kit comes in at a close 2nd.)

Funny thing is the kit comes with FREE shipping AND it's almost $250 CHEAPER than the OEM Kit at trdsparks.

five axis side skirts are just BOOOOOORING... front and rear is okay but not so much.

i seen a tc with five axis front and rear and the oem ground effect sides.. wow.. looked much better that the regular 5axis kit.

btw imho oem kit looks much better than anything else! looks much more aggressive than 5axis lip kit.

*Edit wrong price*

You can actually get the OEM kit unpainted for $100 less then the 5axis kit from trdsparks

the oem lip kit was a good decision for me! looks really clean and goes along with the rest of tha body of the tc. looks alot better then stock. also the five axis lip kit is a good choice.

Since your car is white, I'd go with the OEM kit. The 5 Axis kit only looks good on white if the car is slammed. I think darker colored cars can get away with a moderate drop with the 5 Axis kit. The only real complaint I see about the 5 Axis kit is the unsecure mounting of the front lip.

I bought and installed the oem kit on my white tC. It is a permanent mod since you'll need to drill several slots into the front and rear bumpers.
