But I am gonna guess that you have tried to take out the ball top out shock but does the bottom half of the shock with the metal plate with 2 holes match up with the holes on the tc?

Yeah I have the same exact numbers. And here's the shock in the sleeve, no bracket and no threaded ball end!

Alright well it looks like the 05 and the 08 tC have differ struts. Because all I had to do for mine was declipp the strut on my hatch and unscrew the strut with out taking out the bracket. And it would be a direct replacement.

Here in this picture see if you can unscrew it.

Does your seibon hatch have the Ball tops because if you don't you will probably need to buy it at the dealer or auto store.

Mine are still on my car the one you saw is my stock ones.

I guess if your hatch does not have those ball tops you are gonna have to put some in. If you. Look at the same location of the ones on the stock hatch maybe there is indentations for where to put it.

My hatch has the threaded holes where to put them, I just need the lower PSI Shafts with the proper ends on them. I can't find them anywhere here in Jersey. I'm willing to buy them if you can get them or will sell yours.

This thread has been going for a while. After having the hatch and hood on for several years how would you rate the fit and finish? My tC just received a massive amount of hail damage 2 days ago and I'm looking at CF parts to replace my hood and hatch.
