Not everyone wants to spend that money on head lights.
Besides mine point downwards, I've riden behind cops with no complaint and these are MoCo cops so yeah no glare, at least not from me

Claudia, I have the same setup and mine are fine. No massive glare that blinds on coming traffic but enough to show a wide range of road. Cops don't bother me and I'm in Crofton/Odenton. My brother in law is a cop so I pulled up behind him and adjusted them that way

so let me get this straight, you decided you wanted these lights that don't serve any real function except for the fact that you think that they look "cool". Really you got lights whose only benefit is pointing down...so if anything you are only seeing less....

im not seeing the real purpose of these lights....

tC4Italy: I'm with you. I just adjusted mine a wee bit higher and my vision is remarkable. Projector housings help a good bit but mainly to keep the glare down. They focus the light a bit more but I still get the same amount of light as the BMW 540 my neighbor has. He was impressed by the amount of light coming from mine as compared to his. The glare that we get from stock housings isn't horrible and it works to our advantage.

Finally I can post here!

the glare isn't too bad, I've seen worse. Overall this was a good buy and I am satisfied with it.

Good lookin' car.

Yeah, if you look at the early 2k1-2k2 models of the Acura 3.2 TL, their glare is rediculous and they are stock HIDs in reflector housings. Neighbor with the BMW has one too

Oh, I believe that BMW in the picture has glare as well. It's all good. Glare = more light output and better vision for us

yes HIDs in the proper housing work. Just because you throw light every where, doesn't mean thats a good thing. Thats glare my friend, the foe to on comers.

No one has flashed me yet and I take a small winded road every night, my friend.
Maybe yr eyes are super sensitive. And even if they DO glare, I could care less. I get blinded all the time by the amount of stupid SUVs in this country. I'm sure I'm way less of a nuisance. Now, can we move on?
