i did my ssm with vht nightshades...looks so sick..an di had some paint left over so i did the blinkers on the mirrors looks so sick...im goin to put some pics on soon becuase i juts had some other stuff done to the tc so...you will see it soon enough....but i highly recomend vht nightshade....and dont forget the clear coat..lol....

Haha, I thougt u might have been talkin bout that too. I did mine like these in like September:





If you look close at the reverse lights, you will notice that it has a tiny plastic lip around it. I guess this is from the mold cuz its like a tiny bit of excess plastic. Well I used that as my guide to mask off the reverse light. Just used regular masking tape and it came out fine.

I personally like this look better since it looks almost stock and the cops will be less inclined to bother me. Plus, I didnt smoke them that dark (only used like half a can) although I might do them over darker cuz they look so NICE!

sweet thanks for the info.... so nightshade with masking tape works? if u look closely can u tell that it was taped and sections are off or did u do a good job?

As long as you follow the "plastic lip" I talked about before, it should give you a nice, smooth circle for the reverse light. Just take your time masking, and go a little bit at a time.
